No changes in Turkish ship scrap market

Over the past week, ship scrap purchase prices in Turkey have remained stable in the range of $235-240/mt, for delivery to mill by truck.  As SteelOrbis reported on May 22, Turkish mills in the Izmir region had decided to halt their scrap purchases during the end-of-Ramadan holiday (May 23-26).

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
