On June 12, SteelOrbis reported Chinese import met coke (64-65 percent CSR) offers to India up at $375/mt CFR India.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that since then, met coke offers to India have increased by $5/mt to $380/mt CFR due to tighter environmental controls in China as well as increased steel production in India and other Asian countries. Met coke prices began to increase in early May and are expected to remain firm according to a source.
