Sources inform SteelOrbis that met coke offers to India continue to trend upward since prices hit the floor at approximately $312-320/mt CFR India (on 64-65 percent CSR) in mid-November. Offer prices in the early part of December climbed to $340-345/mt CFR India and are now reportedly higher at $350-355/mt CFR. The price increase is attributed to tighter supply in China.

India imported 0.24 million mt of met coke in September, 0.51 million mt in October and 0.39 million mt in November.
