Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 43

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 20,500/mt ($315/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved down by NTD 300/mt over the same period to INR 22,000/mt ($338/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have remained stable week on week at $310/mt CFR.
