Local Turkish ship scrap prices up by $5-10/mt

Turkish steel producers based in the Izmir region have increased their domestic ship scrap purchase prices by $5-10/mt due to the positive sentiment in the import scrap segment. As a result, ship scrap purchase prices in the region are currently set at $271-275/mt CPT, with Cebitas still out of the market.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
