Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 7

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 1,000/mt over the past week to INR 27,500/mt ($390/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved up by INR 1,800/mt over the same period to INR 29,600/mt ($419/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have increased by $10/mt week on week to $335/mt CFR.
