Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 27,600/mt ($383/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved up by INR 300/mt over the same period to INR 30,500/mt ($424/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have remained stable week on week at $340/mt CFR.
