Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 47

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have remained unchanged over the past week at INR 22,000/mt ($338/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved up by INR 100/mt over the same period to INR 23,800/mt ($366/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have remained stable week on week at $335/mt CFR.
