Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 4

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 26,800/mt ($376/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved sideways over the same period at INR 28,300/mt ($397/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved down by $5/mt week on week to $315/mt CFR.
