Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 39

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 700/mt over the past week to INR 20,500/mt ($313/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved down by NTD 1,050/mt over the same period to INR 22,500/mt ($344/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have increased by $15/mt week on week to $335/mt CFR.
