Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have declined by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 24,800/mt ($361/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 500/mt over the same period to INR 26,800/mt ($391/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved down by $7/mt week on week to $343/mt CFR.
