Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 30

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have moved down by INR 700/mt week on week to INR 24,000/mt ($348/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 1,000/mt over the same period to INR 25,000/mt ($362/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have decreased by $7/mt week on week to $310/mt CFR.
