Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have declined by INR 800/mt over the past week to INR 25,000/mt ($362/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 1,200/mt over the same period to INR 27,300/mt ($395/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved down by $10/mt week on week to $350/mt CFR.
