Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have moved down by INR 300/mt week on week to INR 24,700/mt ($359/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 500/mt over the same period to INR 26,000/mt ($378/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have decreased by $3/mt week on week to $317/mt CFR.
