Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have declined by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 27,000/mt ($392/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 400/mt over the same period to INR 30,100/mt ($438/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have decreased by $5/mt week on week to $355/mt CFR.
