Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 27

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have remained stable over the past week at INR 27,200/mt ($396/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 300/mt over the same period to INR 30,500/mt ($444/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved sideways week on week at $360/mt CFR.
