Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 100/mt over the past week to INR 20,700/mt ($321/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved down by INR 200/mt over the same period to INR 20,000/mt ($310/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved sideways week on week at $285/mt CFR.
