Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have moved down by INR 600/mt over the past week to INR 23,900/mt ($351/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 500/mt over the same period to INR 26,200/mt ($385/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved down by $2/mt week on week to $388/mt CFR.
