Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 2

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 1,400/mt ($21/mt) over the past week to INR 15,400/mt ($230/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have declined by INR 1,600/mt ($23/mt) over the same period to INR 18,200/mt ($272/mt) ex-yard.
