Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 2

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 1,500/mt over the past week to INR 25,700/mt ($405/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved up by INR 1,800/mt over the same period to INR 27,900/mt ($439/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have remained stable week on week at $340/mt CFR.
