Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 16

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have moved up by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 23,000/mt ($351/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have increased by INR 400/mt over the same period to INR 24,300/mt ($370/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have declined by $5/mt week on week to $380/mt CFR.
