Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 12

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 1,200/mt over the past week to INR 23,200/mt ($356/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved down by INR 1,500/mt over the same period to INR 25,000/mt ($383/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have decreased by $2/mt week on week to $398/mt CFR.
