Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 11

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have moved down by INR 500/mt over the past week to INR 26,700/mt ($384/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 900/mt over the same period to INR 28,400/mt ($408/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have increased by $5/mt week on week to $335/mt CFR.
