According to market sources, domestic spot scrap prices in Italy have mostly trended sideways also in the past week. The market is currently quiet and a climate of uncertainty exists. "Even though some expected slight price increases due to a tightness of supply, prices are virtually unchanged compared to last month", explained one local scrap trader. No one is making predictions due to the great uncertainty deriving from geopolitical events and trade investigations.
