Latest situation in local Italian scrap market

Domestic scrap prices in Italy have decreased by €10-15/mt during the past week. More specifically, high quality material prices have withstood better against downward pressures. The recent decreases are attributed mostly to the current high supply levels despite strong scrap demand from Italian mills and they are also backed by the strong sales pressure on local scrap traders.
