Latest situation in local Italian scrap market

According to sources, 2017 is going to end with good demand and prices at the maximum levels year-to-date in the Italian domestic scrap market. The same sources said that deliveries are continuing without significant problems in spite of the approaching Christmas holidays. Scrap demand should remain strong until the first week of the new year, while it is still too soon to predict what will happen later. Local scrap prices are stable compared to one week ago.
