Latest ex-US scrap deals in Turkey

SteelOrbis has learned that two Turkish mills have recently concluded ex-US scrap cargo transactions. In one of these transactions, a cargo of 30,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 was transacted at $375/mt CFR, while the average price of the second cargo, composed of 25,000 mt of HMS I/II 90:10 and 15,000 mt of shredded scrap, was at $376.5/mt CFR.
 
In the meantime, another Turkish mill has concluded a booking for an ex-Puerto Rico scrap cargo composed of 9,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 and 7,000 mt of shredded scrap at the average price level of $376/mt CFR.
