Japanese H2 domestic scrap trends down On April 4, SteelOrbis reported domestic H2 scrap prices in Japan at mini-mills in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya at JPY 33,600-33,900/mt ($301-304/mt) for H2 scrap and JPY 38,700-39,000/mt ($347-350/mt) for shindachi scrap, all prices delivered to customer.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that H2 scrap prices have ticked down and are now at JPY 32,500-32,800/mt ($290-293/mt) for H2 scrap and JPY 37,400-37,600/mt ($334-336/mt) for shindachi scrap, all prices delivered to customer. H2 scrap decreased $11/mt from both the bottom and top of the previous range while shindachi scrap decreased $13/mt from the bottom of the range and $14/mt from the top of the same range.
