Japanese H2 domestic scrap prices tick down again

On November 14, SteelOrbis reported that domestic H2 scrap prices in Japan at mini-mills in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya decreased to JPY 33,000-33,400/mt ($291-294/mt) while shindachi scrap also decreased to JPY 38,100-38,500/mt ($336-339/mt), all prices delivered to customer.

Regional sources inform SteelOrbis that H2 scrap prices at mini-mills in the regions mentioned above have declined further to JPY 32,700-33,000/mt ($290-293/mt) while shindachi scrap also declined to JPY 37,900-38,200/mt ($336-339/mt), all prices delivered to customer. Due to currency improvements of the JPY against the dollar, H2 scrap decreased $1/mt but shindachi scrap remained stable in dollar terms.
