India’s import scrap offers trend stable

On May 18, SteelOrbis reported import scrap offers to India from the EU region, including the UK, at $380-390/mt CFR. These offers are reportedly trending stable with the possibility of slight discounts on larger volumes.

US East coast market sources inform SteelOrbis that containerized shredded offers to India continue stable over the past week at $347-350/mt FAS US port or approximately $375-380/mt CFR India. HMS I is reportedly on offer for $332-335/mt FAS US port or approximately $360-365/mt CFR India.
