Indian domestic pellet prices tick up

On May 13, SteelOrbis reported that Indian domestic pellet offers were trending at INR 6,200-6,400/mt ($88-91/mt) ex-works Raipur while Durgapur prices were at INR 6,000-6,200/mt ($85-88/mt) ex-works.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that the price has remained stable at INR 6,900-7,000/mt ($99-101/mt) ex-works Raipur while Durgapur prices are at INR 6,400-6,500/mt ($92-93/mt) ex-works. Due to currency improvements of the INR against the dollar, the Raipur prices increased $11/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $10/mt from the top of the same range. Durgapur prices have increased by $7/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $5/mt from the top of the same range.
