Indian domestic pellet prices stable domestically, tick down in dollar terms

On April 23, SteelOrbis reported that Indian domestic pellet offers were trending at INR 6,200-6,400/mt ($89-92/mt) ex-works Raipur while Durgapur prices were at INR 6,000-6,200/mt ($86-89/mt) ex-works.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that the price has remained stable at INR 6,200-6,400/mt ($88-91/mt) ex-works Raipur while Durgapur prices are at INR 6,000-6,200/mt ($85-88/mt) ex-works. Due to currency loss of the INR against the dollar, the Durgapur prices have declined by $1/mt across the previous ranges and locations reported.
