Indian domestic pellet prices soften in West India

According to sources close to SteelOrbis, domestic pellet prices in West India are presently at INR 8,500-8,600/mt ($122-124/mt) ex-works Kandla in the state of Gujarat. A source noted that prices dipped from the INR 8,700-8,800/mt ($126-127/mt) ex-Kandla level that was stable from late February to early April. Jindal SAW recently reduced pellet offers by approximately INR 300/mt ($4/mt).
