Sources inform SteelOrbis that ex-US shredded scrap in containers is on offer to India at $375-385/mt CFR Nhava. The prices widened $5/mt from the top of the previous range reported on January 5. Sources report bids currently at $370/mt CFR.

Containerized HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers to India from the Middle East have also increased $5/mt from the top of the range and are presently at $345-355/mt CFR India. A source noted the expectation of offers also softening by $5/mt at the bottom of the range this week as supply eases from the region.
