Import scrap offers to Bangladesh increase

On August 29, SteelOrbis reported containerized shredded scrap offers to Bangladesh from the UK and EU increasing to $355-360/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that for the week ended September 14, containerized shredded scrap offers are near $365-370/mt CFR while containerized HMS I/II 80:20 are reportedly around $340-345/mt CFR. Shredded scrap prices increased $10/mt over the past two weeks. A source noted that as offers have been climbing, transactions have become limited on market uncertainty.
