Ex-US scrap prices to Taiwan on an upward trend

On March 2, SteelOrbis reported ex-US containerized HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers to Taiwan trending up at $348-355/mt CFR Taiwan.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that for the week ended March 9, deals have increased to $358-365/mt CFR Taiwan and offers are now reportedly at $367-370/mt CFR Taiwan. Offers increased $19/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $15/mt from the top of the same range.
