Ex-US scrap offers to Taiwan up

On December 20, SteelOrbis reported ex-US containerized HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers to Taiwan were being heard at $335-339/mt CFR Taiwan, for February shipment. Deals at the time were reportedly at $328-333/mt CFR Taiwan.

Sources have informed SteelOrbis that trading has continued for containerized HMS I/II 80:20 and is presently reported at $335-343/mt CFR. The trading range ticked up by $7/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $10/mt from the top of the same range to .

Offers on HMS I/II 80:20 scrap are reportedly now trending wide at $340-350/mt CFR Taiwan. The new offer range represents an increase of $5/mt from the bottom of the week-ago range and $11/mt from the top of the same range.
