On December 29, SteelOrbis reported several small deals for ex-US containerized HMS I/II 80:20 shipments purchased by Taiwanese buyers at $345/mt CFR Taiwan.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that HMS I/II 80:20 deals to Taiwan have increased $5-7/mt and have reached $350-352/mt CFR. Ex-US containerized HMS I/II 80:20 offers are presently at $355-360/mt CFR. The increase is attributed to limited scrap supplies as well as continued demand.
