On January 18, SteelOrbis reported ex-US containerized HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers to Taiwan at $360/mt CFR. Sources inform SteelOrbis that offers have decreased $15/mt and are now at $345/mt CFR on recent limited trades of $340-345/mt CFR. The quantity of ex-US offers has reportedly increased as Japanese H2 scrap prices decreased, therefore, offer prices declined significantly, according to a source.
