Ex-US scrap offers to Taiwan tick up

On May 9, SteelOrbis reported ex-US containerized HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers to Taiwan at $346-348/mt CFR CY.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that deals have been reported at $340-344/mt CFR for ex-US containerized HMS I/II 80:20 over the past week.

The deals along with the upward trend in the Japanese domestic market are reportedly trending the bottom of the offers from the previous level up by $1/mt to $347-355/mt CFR. The top of the range increased by $7/mt.
