Ex-US scrap offers to Taiwan soften further

On August 3, SteelOrbis reported that ex-US deals on containerized HMS I/II 80:20 over the week were reportedly at $325-330/mt CFR with ex-US offers for containerized HMS I/II 80:20 to Taiwan at $330-335/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that ex-US deals on containerized HMS I/II 80:20 over the week softened further with global scrap price decreases, especially the Turkish import scrap pricing benchmark. Ex-US deals were reportedly achieved at $321-325/mt CFR Taiwan with offers decreasing $5/mt to $325-330/mt CFR Taiwan on containerized HMS I/II 80:20.
