On September 19, SteelOrbis reported ex-US scrap deals on HMS I/II 80:20 to Taiwan at $285-293/mt CFR with offers at $290-298/mt CFR Taiwan.

According to sources, the latest ex-US deals on containerized HMS I/II 80:20 have reportedly reached the range of $282-285/mt CFR this week. The range represents a decline of $3/mt from the bottom of the previously reported range and $8/mt from the top of the same range. A few offers are presently at $285/mt CFR, according to a source, but most exporters have adopted a wait-and-see stance.
