Ex-US scrap deal in Turkey

According to market sources, a Turkish steel producer has concluded an ex-US deal for a cargo consisting of 10,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap, 18,000 mt of shredded scrap, 2,500 mt of P&S grade scrap and 2,500 mt of cut rebar scrap at the average price level of $289/mt CFR, for July shipment. Market sources report that the price of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap in this ex-US booking is $284/mt CFR.
