According to market sources, a Turkish steel producer concluded an ex-US deal at the beginning of the current week for HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $283/mt CFR, shredded scrap at $288/mt CFR and bonus grade scrap at $293/mt CFR. On the other hand, this price level is not available in the market right now, with current ex-US HMS I/II 80:20 scrap quotations being above the level of $290/mt CFR.
