According to sources close to SteelOrbis, the latest ex-US deal heard yesterday, March 21, in Turkey was for a 30,000 mt cargo. The deal was closed with HMS I/II 80:20 at $325/mt CFR, shredded scrap at $330/mt CFR, and bonus scrap at $335/mt CFR. The volume of shredded scrap is estimated at 7,000-8,000 mt, with 3,000 mt of bonus grade scrap, and the remainder consisting of HMS I/II 80:20.
