Ex-St. Petersburg scrap transaction in Turkey

According to market sources, a Turkish steel producer concluded an ex-St. Petersburg deal yesterday, October 4, for at least 4,000 mt of bonus grade scrap at $305/mt CFR, a minimum of 1,500 mt of rail scrap at $310/mt CFR and a maximum of 3,000 mt of shredded scrap at 300/mt CFR. The remainder of the cargo, of which the total tonnage is reported to amount to 29,000 mt, consists of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $295/mt CFR.
