Ex-India’s ferrochrome offers to China trend down

On July 25, SteelOrbis reported that ex-India ferrochrome offers to China slipped down to $1,860-1,890/mt CIF China on slow demand from the export market.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that trading remains slow and that offer prices have again trended down to $1,741-1,790/mt CIF China. Prices declined $119/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $100/mt from the top of the same range. Additionally, India’s INR has lost value against the dollar over the period.
