Sources inform SteelOrbis that export prices for Indian silicomanganese dipped into the $1,050-1,100/mt range through most of the May to early December period after achieving higher prices of $1,170-$1,250/mt FOB India in the first four months of the year.
Sources report prices of Indian silicomanganese export offers at $1,040-1,060/mt FOB at the moment with “upward movements expected in early 2019 as the INR is viewed as having reached stability and potentially further consistent strength against the dollar.”
