On January 31, SteelOrbis reported ex-India ferrochrome (HC 60 percent) offers to China firming up at $2,000-2,050/mt CIF China.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that ex-India ferrochrome has continued firming up and is presently offered at $2,050-2,130/mt CIF China. The offer prices increased $50/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $80/mt from the top of the same range. The increase is attributed to an increase in demand by Chinese buyers over the past week.
