Ex-India ferrochrome offer prices trending up

On February 14, SteelOrbis reported ex-India ferrochrome (HC 60 percent) offers to China at $2,050-2,130/mt CIF China, stable week-on-week.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that offer prices are trending up on positive expectations for demand upon the return of Chinese traders after the New Year holiday. Ex-India ferrochrome (HC 60 percent) offers to China are now at $2,135-2,160/mt CIF China. The new offer range has increased $85/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $30/mt from the top of the same range.
